If you have a question that is not answered here, feel free to contact us and ask.
Does the HOPE Scholarship apply?
Financial aid for our program is the same as for our “on-campus” students.
What if I’m already enrolled in another college?
Maybe this is a good time to look at our course offerings and a sample of our degree program. It’s POSSIBLE that some of your credits may transfer, but the only way to know is to apply.
What if I already started a degree somewhere else? Will my credits transfer?
That decision is determined when you apply to the institution or the new BIT Online
What if I am called to active military duty? Will my credits transfer?
If you have access to the internet, there is no reason to be concerned. Once you have been admitted to an institution, contact your advisor.
Is there a time frame in which I am required to complete this degree?
The Georgia WebBSIT program will be deactivated effective December, 2020. To ensure that you can successfully complete your program by this deadline, a checklist of courses has been sent to each active student. New students and students who can’t complete their degree by December 2020 are encouraged to transfer to the BIT Online
program or the BSIT
face-to-face program at Georgia Southern.
What are some job possibilities for me after having completed this degree?
According to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov), computer and information technology occupations are expected to grow 12%, adding 546,200 new jobs, between 2018 and 2028, with a median annual wage of $86,320 in 2018. These occupations are in Computer and Information Research, Network Architecture, Programming, Database Administration, Cybersecurity, Network and Computer Systems Administrators, Software and Web Development.
What if I must travel outside of the U.S. for long periods of time?
As long as you have access to the internet, there is no problem. Contact your advisor for other circumstances.

Yes. The WebBSIT program encourages multiple communication venues: email, chat room, and discussion forums with the instructors.
